Contributed Sessions

Refereed papers
Session themes include mathematical research, education, e-learning and assessment, engineering, and science. Papers will be reviewed by an international technical committee. Accepted papers will be published in a printed proceedings. Contributed Program Chair: Dr. Ilias Kotsireas, Wilfrid Laurier University.

Maple in Action
These sessions are for users who simply want to share their experiences and applications but do not wish to write or present full papers. See Call for Participation Maple in Action .


Special Sessions

Maple techniques in industry and engineering
Extended presentations by invited speakers on innovative real-world applications of Maple technology. Topics include advanced modeling techniques, application development, and optimal design.

Maplesoft showcase
Presentations and demonstrations by senior Maplesoft staff on the latest products and technologies. Get the latest news from the company and get a glimpse of the future of the products.

Technical chats
Facilitated by senior Maplesoft staff, these "Birds of a feather" sessions offer experienced users a chance to meet developers and get valuable detailed information and insights on the products. Topics include user interface, mathematical algorithms, education, and more.


Workshops

FREE pre-conference workshop for beginners
This hands-on session is the perfect introduction to Maplesoft products for beginners. It will help new users gain sufficient knowledge to maximize their enjoyment of the main conference.

Optional (fees apply) post-conference workshops
These in-depth, day-long workshops offer in-depth training on products. Courses in Maple and Maple T.A. are available for different experience levels and backgrounds.


Social Activities

Conference reception and banquet (One ticket included in Commercial or Academic registrations). Tickets are required for students.

Meet you at the Heuther! A conference tradition where attendees gather at a local 19th century hotel to enjoy regional snacks and microbrewed refreshments.
